The album moves impressively through different styles, including minimalism, pure ambience, and classic electronic, very much paralleling to India’s work ethic of merging different rhythms and painting styles into her works. India has devoted the first 13 tracks to Apex Twin’s album, given that she’d listen to this selection on repeat whilst painting at her studio during the evenings. Moreover she’s generously pulled out a bonus track, the sound from The Sims, which the artists describes as “the video game equivalent to shopping centre/elevator music.” allowing us to enter a virtual world behind our one.
