The golden tempo sweet spot.

Artist Oliver Durcan takes influence from the processes felt during meditation, vibration therapy, painting flow, and endurance running in this playlist that he mixed together himself. Providing 51-minutes of low frequency movements at 126bpm, Durcan’s playlist is closely related to our anatomy. 120-130bpm is about twice our heart rates, and also the speed of the feotus’ heart in the womb, and hence it is suited to induce trancelike feelings in the listener. These timings are second nature to human beings, giving us the impression that ‘it just feels right’. This mix is not too fast to wear you out, but fast enough to make it explicitly jumpy.

Stream Durcans’s ‘sweet spot’ mix below when undertaking a physical activity and synchronize yourself to the beat of your own heart.
